A good friend of mine came to visit us bearing gift: homemade ginger bread! All I can say is that she knows me well. I tried to pace myself as much as I could, and I manage to have a little bit left at the end of the weekend. That’s a very good opportunity for me to make this sweet and sour appetiser that I wanted to try for a while now.
Ingredients for 12 bites:
- 1 pear
- 100 g of blue cheese (I like the Roquefort)
- 3 or 4 ginger bread slices
- 12 toothpicks
- Preparation: 10 mins
- Cooking: none
- Rest: none
1- Cut the ginger bread slices in regular square (4/slice). Cut the pear in squares too.
2- Spread a little bit of blue cheese over each ginger bread bite. Top it with a piece of pear and pick them with a toothpick. “Et voila!”
