I love salmon, even if I don’t cook it often (or at least not as often as I would like to). I knew that the pear and blue cheese combination was a killer, but I have never expected them to share the yumminess of their mix with the salmon. That was until I tried that recipe, give it a try, I am sure you won’t regret it!
Ingredients for 2 portions:
- 2 salmon filets
- 50 g of blue cheese (I use Roquefort)
- 1 pear
- A little bit of chopped parsley (optional)
- Salt, pepper
- 1 lime juice (or lemon)
Times:
- Preparation: 10 mins
- Cooking: 15 mins
- Rest: none
1- Cut 2 pieces of aluminium foil, and preheat the oven at 180 Celsius degrees.
2- Slice the pear and chop the blue cheese into small dices.
3- Put one salmon filet into each aluminium foil with half of the pear slices, half of the blue cheese half of the lime juice, salt, pepper, and enclose everything hermetically. Put in the oven for 15 minutes. You can decorate the plates with a little bit of chopped parsley. This dish goes well with some white rice of grilled vegetables.
