I mentioned previously my trip to Cancun. I had this dessert in one of the many restaurants of the resort we were staying at: “Kampai restaurant”. As the resort was huge, we had to walk 15 minutes to get there, but it was so worth it, even under 35 degrees!
Ingredients for 4 portions:
- 400 g of strawberries
- 2 mangos
- 40 g of sugar
- 2 tablespoons of lemon juice
- Vanilla ice cream (optional)
- Preparation: 15 mins
- Cooking: none
- Rest: none
1- Wash and cut the strawberries in half. Put them into a food processor with the sugar and the lemon juice and mix well.
2- Optional: You can either strain the seeds or not.
3- Coupez la mangue en petits dés et répartissez dans 4 ramequins ou bols. Répartissez le coulis de fraise par dessus et éventuellement, ajoutez une boule de glace à la vanille pour les plus gourmands 😉 .
4- This dessert is even better with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the top.
